Grief & Loss Therapy

Living with Loss

Most mornings begin in stillness. The air feels different now, heavier somehow. The clock keeps moving, even when time seems to have stopped for you.

Other times, it is deafening. The stillness of morning is overwhelming. The sound of a drawer closing. The ache that sits beneath the simplest moments.

You can feel the absence everywhere, even when no one else can see it.

It is not always the loss itself that hurts the most, but how alone you feel inside it. The trying to carry on. The missing that never seems to end.

Grief and loss therapy offers a space to pause, to name what has been carried in silence, and to make gentle sense of what life looks like now. The love that lingers. The questions without answers. The tender places that still need to be seen.

If your loss has also changed the way you connect with your partner, you may find Couples Therapy a supportive space to begin rebuilding closeness.

I offer online grief therapy for individuals and couples across Ontario, British Columbia, and throughout Canada. This is a quiet space to hold both the ache of loss and the small, steady signs of life beginning again.

what grief and loss therapy can help with

Grief moves in quiet ways. It does not follow a timeline or ask permission to stay. Some days it softens, other days it catches you off guard. A familiar song, the smell of rain, an empty chair at the table. Life keeps going, yet something inside you has changed.

Grief is not a problem to solve. It is a story to be witnessed. Therapy offers a place where you do not have to be strong or make sense of everything. Together, we make space for what has been lost and for what still lives within you as the love, the longing, and the ways memory continues to unfold.

My approach is gentle and non-directive, rooted in relational and attachment-based perspectives. We move slowly, at a pace that feels safe for you, allowing space for both sorrow and the quiet beginnings of renewal.

Whether you are grieving a loved one, an ending, a change in identity, or something you cannot easily name, you are welcome here. You do not need to rush your healing. This space is here to help you hold what hurts and to remind you that even in loss, connection is still possible.

What if I am not sure what I am feeling is grief?

You don’t need a label to begin. Many people come because something feels heavy, unsettled, or missing, and they’re not sure why. That’s okay. Grief shows up in many ways, and all of them are welcome here.

Is it too late to come to grief therapy after years have passed?

There is no deadline for grief. Sometimes it stays quiet until later. Sometimes it never had space in the first place. Whenever it shows up, it is welcome here.

How long does grief therapy last?

It depends on what you need. Some people come for a season, others find support in staying longer. We check in often to see what feels right. Some people begin with Individual Therapy when they want space to explore their grief privately before opening up to others.

A gentle invitation

If this feels like the kind of space you have been looking for, you are welcome to reach out. You can send a message or schedule a consultation. There is no need to be ready for everything. You can begin with what you are holding right now.

I'm Here to Help

How We Can Work Together

Every grief story is different. Some people come to make sense of a recent loss, others to find their footing after years of carrying it quietly.

My practice is affirming and inclusive of all people, welcoming the many ways grief and identity intersect. I hold space for those grieving loved ones, relationships, identities, health, or the life they thought they would have. However your loss shows up, it deserves care, patience, and to be met without judgment.

I offer grief and loss therapy virtually in Vancouver, Toronto, and across British Columbia and Ontario, as well as throughout Canada. If you would like to begin, we can start with a brief consultation to see whether this feels like the right fit for you.
