Maggi Woo, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Sometimes the people who find their way here are carrying stories they have kept quiet for a long time. Grief that shows up at odd moments. Shame that whispers they are too much or not enough. The ache of disconnection, from a partner, from themselves, from hope.

My role is to meet you there with curiosity and care. I see therapy as a space for gentle discovery, a place where we explore what has shaped you, what still hurts, and what might be ready to heal. You will find me inquisitive and present, someone who listens closely and helps you make sense of the pieces you have been carrying. Together, we can begin to notice what wants to emerge: your voice, your needs, your aliveness.

About Maggi

Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years in the corporate world, where I witnessed how often people carry quiet struggles beneath the surface of success. That time taught me about the weight of responsibility, the strain of expectations, and the deep need for connection that lives inside even the most capable people.

My approach has also been shaped by time spent supporting people in hospice care and within community programs for unhoused and food scarce individuals. Those experiences deepened my respect for the human capacity to endure, connect, and heal, even in the most uncertain circumstances.

In our work together, you can expect warmth, steadiness, and genuine curiosity. My role is to help you feel safe enough to explore what has been hard to face, and supported enough to begin making sense of it. I help couples learn new ways of reaching for each other, and support individuals in understanding the patterns that shape their emotions, thoughts, and relationships.

I hold deep respect for the courage it takes to begin. If you are considering therapy, my hope is that this can be a space where you feel safe to unfold, to wonder, and to rediscover what still lives and breathes within you. Healing takes time, and you do not have to do it alone.
